Tiffany Lim

Hey everyone, yes this is like a year (not really, because I'm still not a year full-time staff) vacation ! Like to clear some of these draft posts before my new posts, thus posting this and Thailand post soon!

Let's Fly !

- First stop: Accommodation -

We actually Airbnb this apartment, could see more in my previous vlog (which I will link it down below). It was really clean and white, just that the stupid water couldn't control its PMS, hot-cold-hot-cold, seriously?!

Actually, I was filming my vacation makeup items, but my camera was really bad and I deleted the whole file (which I'm pretty regret now, thought I might able to produce something out of it). But sure glad to say that we two have a day off from all those walking, cause I was really not feeling too well then.

Location: Xi Men Ding

- Second Stop: Breakfast -

Perhaps you would like some old delight breakfast, where everyone says it is a must to have soybean milk and dough-stick in Taiwan. This shop is pretty famous for that, and I could taste why. Because its soybean milk doesn't have the aftertaste, where it feel like it has residue left. Also, the dough-stick is fry upon order, or perhaps too many customers !

It is just at the corner of Xi Meng Ding, ask around and you will get there !

Want some fancy pancy breakfast? This is 100X better than Ah Zong Mee Sua ! A walkable distance from "Long Shan" MRT station, a station after Xi Men Ding Station. 99% locals, and it is introduced by our driver, so of course it is real good !

Thick pork intestine and oyster, and big bowl of Mee Sua, ensure your whole day will be great and fresh !

Location: Ji Mee Sua (陳記專業蚵仔麵線) at No. 166, Section 3, Heping W Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan.

- Third Stop: Dan Shui / Fisherman Wharf -

Dan Shui is an amazing place to walk around, with great #ootd #coupleshot here ! We took bus instead of ferry from Dan Shui MRT station to the lover's bridge, as it was raining really heavily before that and there isn't any ferry around.

there is also a sort of marketplace, where u could buy their famous iron egg !

Location:

BY MRT&BUS: From Red Line 2 Tamsui Station, take bus Red 26, 836 or 857 towards Fisherman's Wharf.

BY BOAT: Ferries operate between the wharf and Tamsui Old Street, Bali, and Dadaocheng ferry pier in Taipei City (located next to Yellow Line 4 Daqiaotou MRT Station) or Zhongxiao Wharf in New Taipei City. Swipe an easycard and board the boat.

Afterwhich, we went back to Dan Shui MRT station, as it has this old street where there is a lot of things to see, also it has this strange museum ! Gosh, that time my tongue could touch my nose, it no longer can do that now ! hahahhas !

Also, the must-eat Legendary noodle is also found here !

Price for Strange Museum: NT$70 per pax

- Fourth Stop: Hot Spring -

I would say this is one of the mosttttt relaxing moment ever in this whole trip, it just lack of someone helping you to massage ! Hahahs ! It wasn't really cheap, as we opt for private room cause the public one is fully naked, like O.O

We went to Bei Tou for this, and it has hot and cold spring, and talking about life with this crazy girl while switching from hot to cold, cold to hot. Gosh, those days was really great man !

Private Hot Spring Room is for 2 pax. No gender restriction.
Weekdays/Weekends - NT1150/90 mins / NT1350/90mins

Reservations are not accepted.

Location: No. 3, Zhongshan Road, Beitou District

- Fifth Stop:  Taipei 101 -

When we were there, the weather is quite bad, and going up = seeing only fog. Thus, we didn't head up, despite going there twice. But oh well, we managed to get great food which is ICE MONSTER !

Couldn't really recall which is my favourite, but the ice was sooooo fine and melts inside your mouth. The ice has the flavour too, with many ingredients come with it ! We ordered like 3 or 4, sharing between 6 of us !

Location: Just ask around where is Ding Tai Feng's building, and it is on the second or third floor. Also, THERE IS H&M ! hahahhas

- Last Stop: Watch my vlogs -

There is sooo much images I deleted or couldn't take, thus, all is well recorded inside my vlog. If you didn't get to watch it, please watch it now. And see my old face, LOL. "Like" my vlog and remember to subscribe !

Tata, much loved !

I must say perhaps CingJing and Taizhong is my favourite place out of all, cause everything seems like a tourist attraction place! For our trip around TaiZhong, we also engage our driver in my previous post !

La Vida Hotel

Our stay in TaiZhong is really good ! It's La Vida, it's like damn atas but it pretty affordable ! The screen could be pull down, so don't worry shy people ! Hahahs ! Just looks pretty cool how me and yn decided to take each other ! Guess who is inside the toilet and who is out? hahahs! But everything has two set, as we stay in the room for 4, even the basin !

It is really near Feng Jia Night Market too ! The hotel also provide map to Feng Jia and the whereabout

Spending: If I'm not wrong, it's below SGD$40 per pax

Address:

No. 275-2, Section 2, Xitun Road, Xitun District, Taichung City, Taiwan 407

Famous ice cream place - Gong Yuan Yan Ke 宫原眼科

The must-go ice cream place ! Like must gooo ! Really lots of ice cream flavours, but boo side, no trying. So we just gotten some flavours that we usually like, and watch my video to know which is our recommended one !

Price for this cup: NT$85 (~SGD$2.9)

Lavender cottage

#pleaselookatwhattheleftbackisdoing?! hahahhs

Half regret, half glad. I'm a huge fan of lavender actually, especially the smell, it's sooo NICE ! So coming here is needless to say, but it really not as fancy as what I thought, but the smelly is awesome. It don't really have much places to walk to, and only a wishing tree, and us doing pretty weird stunts? hahahs ! The ticket include a NT$50 voucher for you to get some shopping, I sincerely regret giving my voucher to her friends, cause after which I wanted to get this spray for NT$600 which NT$50 seems pretty useful suddenly...

Ticket price: NT$100 (~SGD$5)

Zhong She Hua Shi: Flower market (中社花市)

Welcome to the place where everyone pretend to be Jay Chou ! Pretty easy to get the angle where everyone will take, as they provide stood for you to stand on ! hahahs ! It's pretty huge, a few attraction for you to snap some shoots !

Place the link at the header, so you guys could see their FB page ! They approach us for some shoots, and giving sunflower seed for those who keen to help. Just help them, cause you are a tourist and nobody knows :X !

Ticket: NT$120 per pax (~SGD$6)

"Add noodles, no extra cost"

I guess this is like one of the top secret place tourist would know ! At a small outlet, there is this shop where the boss is real friendly and keep telling you to eat more and no addition charge for the second bowl. And I freaking ate two bowls cause it is that nice?!

They have 5 different types of noodles, I ate mee fen first, followed by their first signboard noodle, which I simply forget what's that. It's a white noodle, but it feel like handmade as no sticking to your teeth ! The beef soup one is real nice too ! They also have the dry ones ! The dry one has stronger taste as compared to the soup one, so perhaps you guys could order the different thing and try it out !

Address:
三豐 297 (from my driver)

Till the next great post and have a great day ahead!
Hello my cutie pie, how is life going man ! I'm having like three jobs now; real job, blog job and drama job. HAHAHS. Watching roommates and return of superman, omg it's really really reallllly NICE !

From Transport

*Ahem* okay, so back to the trip to CingJingggg ! Usually, people will hire car up to CingJing as it is high up in the mountain, and it's pretty inconvenient, we did that as well. You could contact our driver if you ever wanted to go Taiwan #notsponsoredk We went up in the evening after our crazy theme park !

Our driver is pretty good in recommending us some locations, and having karaoke in his car is like a great bonus ! It's about NT$6500 (~SGD$224) per day, but that price is for us with luggage. So if you are travel in a smaller group, it will be much cheaper for you.

Spending: NT$1,166 (per pax)

Contact details of driver:

Theme park

Spend a whole day in my favourite place, can anyone guess where is it?! The place where Queen Tiff wave. HAAHAHS ! That's what hm says alright !

IT HAS THE ALMOST OR 90 DEGREE DROP LIKE WHAT?!?!?! It's damnnnnn FUN ! Hahahs ! Yupp, my favourite place, it has a few real crazy rides and some pretty childish ones , but we still... I mean, hey we paid everything already right?! Hahahas !

We spend the whole day there; not only it has theme park, it actually has A LOT of things to walk and see. But the theme park is big enough for us to pay the whole day ! The food there is quite expensive, as it is a themepark, what u expecting right? However, the tickets they do have promotion then, so its sold in pairs.

Spending on ticket: NT$275 (~SGD$9.4) per pax

Address:
Jian Hu Shan Theme Park- 劍湖山世界

Dinner

Before getting up to our mingsu, we actually ate at this really famous place, called "Yi Na Gu" smoked chicken, it's like something everyone there would know. Cause it's in the middle of nowhere, LOL.

And if you watch my previous vlog, you will see that we have to break the chicken into pieces by our own, and the food there is really not bad ! It cost about NT$1452 (~SGD$50) for 7 people! If I'm not wrong, we actually ate for set for 4, adding fish and vegetables. Their menu have sets, which all include the famous chicken (like duh?) hahahs

Spending: NTS$242 (per pax)

Address:
Just ask your driver, because it's a must to pass by before going up to CingJing.

Stay

Not sure is it me or what, but I really love our stay in CingJing, despite carrying the luggage up the stairs (like the one I climbed up in my vlog) but it's really refreshing air up there, and beautiful morning scenery, to shoo my morning black face (yes, I do have the morning temper for like 15mins everyday, just don't talk to me). Usually, I will shoo that off by lazing in my bed for another 15/30 mins ! hahahs

Our stay is a little expensive, as it's on the weekends and CingJing is more of an attraction, so if there is a cow to milk, why not right? hahahs. Our stay NT$3092 (~SGD$106) for 4 people, and NT$1156 (~SGD$39) for a couple.

They provide supper and really lovely breakfast, omg, missing all those milk tea T.T and of course that glass noodles !!!

Spending: NT$773 (per pax for 4 people room)

Address:
Julie's Garden Villa- 清境峰情人文民宿
No.46, Rongguang Ln, Cingjing, Nantou, Taiwan

MehMehMeh~

How can you come CingJing without going to their famous meh meh farm?! Be damn DAMN prepared for the massive crowds, mainly China people. Not saying they are bad or what, but I actually told a china guy off, as he continuously feed the sheeps chips, in front of his children?! WTH? You have no brain?! Other than that, everything is good. Please bring your student card as it will come in handy when purchasing the tickets ! The food to feed the sheeps is only NT$10 (SGD$0.20).

In addition, some timing you might want to take note:
9.30am sheep show, 1030am horse show.

The way they grab the sheep are pretty disturbing, as it seems so cruel when they just grab the animals. I bet the sheep are used to it and hurt. However, when they are set free, it's still good to interact with the sheep and see how they roam freely.

Spending: NT$120 (ticket/pax)

Address:
NO. 170, Renhe Rd., Datong Village, Ren’ai Township,
Nantou County, Taiwan(R. O. C.)

Operating hours:
8am to 4pm.

Ri Yue Tan

Coming to TaiZhong, somehow everyone would think of this island called "Ri Yue Tan". If you don't really fancy boat ride, then you could ask your driver to drive you guys to the attraction of "Ri Yue Tan". Because the boat ride is really nothing much to see, and the guide will keep talking non-stop, like for real. LOL.

The temple stop will have this real famous herbal egg, but for me, I think their business is way too good and it became pretty blend (we went there about 5pm?). Hopefully you guys have better luck then me !

Spending on Ferry: NT$250

To Feng Jia Night market !

If you haven't no clue what to eat in Feng Jia nightmarket, awesome guide is HERE ! There is sooo much to eat and look, I didn't really shop here, cause I was thinking of a bagpack and I gotten it in another nightmarket, so will blog about the cheap deals of where is it at !

BUT IS THIS THE NIGHT MARKET WITH THE MOST FOOD, I SWEAR WHEN I MEAN MOST ! 3 lanes of food stretch, like can you imagine, three pasamalar lane of nice food ! hahahhs !

Till the next great post and have a great day ahead!
Hello every pillow~ Just being random. Anyway, this might be the most excited blog post I have been wanting to blog because.... IT'S ABOUT FOOOOOOD ! If you catch this week's vlog, it's all about (okay not all, most), ABOUT NIGHT MARKET ! THAT'S WHAT TAIWAN IS FOR RIGHT RIGHT !

Also, there's no worries to eat in Nightmarket because everything is so affordable !

Yam ice cream in popiah skin

Having a happening life in Taiwan, and went down to grab this yum ice cream ! It's different okay people. Who use popiah skin to wrap ice cream, which contain peanut inside and the xiang chai. I didn't add the veg, but it's taste real good. I mean, I actually don't eat yum like a no, but I finished this one ! The peanut which is finely chopped, using the magic wooden block (god knows what's that.. hahas), and it added texture to the ice cream !

I gotten it at xi men ding, which is below our apartment then ! I saw it in quite a few night market, including jiu fen, so do try it out!

Acutally, I gotten like A LOT of food that night. Okay, without picture but just note down people !

THE POTATO BALL ! IS LIKE MUST !

It is actually a hollo potato ball, the very first time I ate it, it's like meh. Really, I think it's not filled and hollo. But after a few balls, it's damn addictive ! Cause the potato ball is super chewy and if the store owner give you the just fried, HOLY ! It's like crispy and chewy, can you even feel that ?! Eating food of the next level, but make sure the oil looks clean, otherwise you will be eating dirt ball instead. #justsaying

Da chang bao xiao chang

Cr: Google

This is like real pretty decent, I mean what can go wrong with taiwan sausage right?! The so called "da chang" which should be large intestine but it is actually glutinous rice, and wrapping taiwan sausage with all those weird garlic and chilli. Please, tell the lady/guy don't put or a little ! I got mine so damn spicy and the garlic smell I feel not only vampire will die please.

In addition, I ate just the sausage one with seaweed flavour, also at xi men ding, it's really different, it has pretty much flavours, I think I bite my best friend's curry flavoured too ! Suggest to try both !

The legendary noodles !

Holy Cow ! This one is really because we decided to go the extra miles ! Because it's only available at Dang Shui nightmarket, and it's pretty deep in, near a milktea store. This look like a normal noodles and chicken, but no~ The chicken is grilled and so as the noodles ! Both are grilled on the hot stove and the black pepper sauce is a little spicy but it's the best, the milk tea store has matcha milk tea so why not right !

The noodles and the chicken gave this real special flavour, like BBQ ! The skin is like the best, because it's soooooo tender !

Only available in Dan Shui Nightmarket !!

Noodles with steak !

This noodles is only available in Rui Feng night market, which is in kaohsiung. This noodles is pretty decent which the black sauce and I mixed the egg yolk with the noodle with bring the food to the next level. Not saying I'm super creative but the noodles because so much smoother, like how you eat sabu sabu with the raw egg? The steak is quite like patty, don't expect too much for night market food ya.

We only saw this at rui feng night market.

The holy moly baked potato with cheese and ingredients !!

This is really GOOD ! LIKE WE WANTED TO EAT IT SOOO MANY TIMES ! Really just baked potato filled with cheddar cheese and ingredients ! The cheese melts the potato, together with the ingredients, holy moly another bite please ! Really thumb up ! We added the ham, corn and some other ingredients, okay just saying, we ordered the most expensive one. Cause there's more ingredients ! hahahahs !

In addition, hear that xi men ding also have a shop called "wang zi" which their baked potato skin is hash brown, wtf did I miss out?!?!?! But they close real early like 8pm? In addition, shops in Xi meng ding close pretty early actually.

Tako Ball !

Just watch my vlog, all expression is written there ! hahahhs ! They have the wasabi one too ! It's really different and I love it !!

We only saw this in feng jia nightmarket ! So do queue up ya.

That Scallop !

Cr: Google

These scallop found in feng jia night market is right up there ! Even the price, but there is no regret because they are really good like damn, should have buy a dozen ! Because maybe because there is only a few, so it taste super nice. I order "anything" which has a different type of flavouring which added texture to the scallop.

What is your favourite in Taiwan nightmarket? Please do comment and perhaps my next trip I could grab them !! hahahas

Lastly, enjoy my video and please do subscribe !

Till the next post,
Love you guys !
