Food Hunt at Upper Thomson

A late night post for people who are as hungry as me out there. I can literally hear my stomach rawr and crying for food, and i'm not on diet that cause me not eating now, but it's my empty fridge that my stomach is crying for.

I have never been to Aston, I mean before this trip. Always wanted to go Astons but always we will have more fantastic eating places to go, and left me not trying it before.

There is two type of Astons, express and specialties. Let me explain a bit, because I really went to what are the differences other than the small amount of price differ. Astons express = coffee shop, while Astons specialties = their shop with a free cup of ice water. LOL. And both their menus look exactly almost the same, due to the price differences and additional dishes at specialties.

Mine is the Chargrill chicken where yeenah said is the best, together with their fries and potato salad.
I would say the chicken sauce is really nice, and the chicken is quite thick and the sides are okay so I would rate 8.5/10, because the potato salad has onions which makes my mouth stinks. Hahas

Hickory BBQ chicken is yeenah's choice, together with onion rings and macaroon with cheese. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I tried, the chicken uses chipotle sauce which is kinda sweet, the more you eat it. Also, the cheese is super diluted. So only a 6/10 if I would rate it.

 And the proportion is quite big too ! For someone who visit it the first time, it's worth it. Because no GST or service charge, even at the specialties !

While she is praying, so I asked her, everytime she pray, do she say the same thing to god. And she say sort of. Then I said, god must be bored.

So this is what I will say if I pray," Thanks for each other's time to able to bond with the western dish in front of us. And making use our time fully by convert our necessities to sharing loves and thoughts with people beside us. Lastly, hope this food will taste nice, if not, god please convert it to nice food. Amen"

Sounds much better? Teehee. Not being religion-ist uh~

 After our full full FULL dinner, we decided to lepak and reaching a traditional beancure shop !

They sells really nice beancure and a quite okay standard of portuguese egg tart. After going Hong kong and tried their egg tars, somehow else where's egg tart don't taste nice anyomore...

Anyway, their beancure still caught my taste buds ! We ordered the cold beancure, and it do not have the powdery taste like lao ban and it will melt in your mouth, ahhhh I'm super hungry.

Okay continue, then the pearls they give like free one, it's a lot a lot ! I cannot even finish those pearls because my mouth is aching after those chewing, but it's good ! 9/10, 1 marks for the aching-ness caused. Teehee


P.S/ This is for real. Thanks god for the food and time we spend together, and hope that even we ain't the same class, we would still spend our fridays together.
