#SIWWPledge success !
Hello peeps ! Remember this insta post for Singapore International Water Week #SIWWPledge ?
Yes, We went out to ask for more pledge of support for water conservation ! And some sad truth about our world that we never notice, just because we having full access to clean water doesn't mean the whole world is having.
About
one in nine people in the world lack access to clean water - about 780 million
people worldwide.
Co-founded by Gary White and Matt Damon, Water.org is a non-profit
organisation that has transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia
and Central America by providing access to safe water and sanitation. Matt Damon
was awarded the World Economic Forum Crystal Award earlier this year for the
organisation’s efforts to solve the global water crisis.
Thanking the sponsors and organisers for raising the money for such a meaningful event. And it was a real pleasure that the co-founder of campaign came down and talk to us more about this event ! Real glad to meet organiser like them !

A big thanks and hugs to you all for pledging their support for Water.org !
Because of you all, we, bloggers who are at both Bugis and Orchard Road met up and interacted with nearly 1000 people ! Wow ! What's more wow is that campaign managed to reach target of 40,000 pledges ($40,000) 15 days earlier than expected ! AWESOME !
However, it's always good to raise more money to help those people without clean access of water ! More pledge, more support would mean earlier for them to have clean access of water !
You could do your part,by:
1. liking my insta picture, which is the easiest that you could do, just scroll up and double click it !
2. Take your own selfie at home, and post your pledge at #SIWWPledge !
3. DO BOTH ! It will really help to spread awareness of pressing water issues, and what's best is that no money involve from our pockets, just spreading the awareness !
To end off, a real great experience with Jasmine and the two guys (Don & Ashley) who helped us from SIWW ! Although it was real tiring to explain all the pointers again and again to each individuals, but when you all agree to take pictures with us or for us, it's really worth it !
Some of u rejected us, as some might though we are asking for money. But we are really not T.T it's okay, you could still pledge by taking your own selfie and upload k ! hahahs ! Real fun with this girl and our team !
Although in team qiuqiu but sad to say that we actually didn't have a photo with her, as we all hurried for the mission ! But it's okay, there's next time !
